How It All Started
It began with a single skein of yarn and a YouTube tutorial. What was supposed to be a quiet hobby to unwind after long days quickly turned into an obsession — the good kind. I found myself staying up late, hands working on autopilot, completely lost in the rhythm of hook and yarn. Before I knew it, every corner of my home had a half-finished project (and honestly, it still does).
I started making little gifts for friends — a cozy beanie here, a plush amigurumi there. When people started asking, “Can you make one for me too?” I realized this wasn’t just a hobby anymore. It was something I could share with the world. Made With Kate was born out of that love — the joy of creating something by hand and seeing someone’s face light up when they receive it.
Today, every piece I make still carries that same heart. I pour time, care, and a little bit of my personality into each stitch.
